Abstract
This is translation into English of the original paper in Russian published in the previous AU issue: Крутоус, B. Категории «эстетическое» и «художественное» в контексте проблематизации предмета эстетики // Aesthetica Universalis (Всеобщая эстетика). Vol. 2—3 (14—15). C. 180—212.
The article expresses the concerns about the modern blurring of the subject of the aesthetics and, and as a result, its issues. The author shows that such trends depend on the change in the traditional relationship between the aesthetic and the artistic. The balance between this dyad needs to be reflected from the position of a new artistic-philosophical- aesthetic paradigm. The article identifies a number of specific aspects of the topic that seem to be the most relevant as an approach in further researches. Expressing his own position on the issues, the author acknowledges the other positions, approaches and solutions.
