Abstract

The article presents an overview of the international scientific conference “Media Art – XXI century. Genesis, Art Programs, Educational Issues”, dedicated to the phenomenon of postdigital art, which is defined as a creative activity aimed at the humanization of computer technologies through the interaction between digital, biological, cultural and spiritual systems. During the conference, attention was focused on the functional role of new media in developing the potential of artistic communication. The conference took place in Moscow on November 1-3, 2022. The scientific meetings of the conference were organized by the Research Institute of Theory and History of Fine Arts of the Russian Academy of Arts, the State Institute of Art Studies, the Russian State Art and Industrial University named after S.G. Stroganov, the Moscow Academic Architectural Institute (State Academy) and the National Academy of Design.
