Abstract

Art acquires new characteristics and an important topic of modern research is the question of the ontological perspective of aesthetics in the postmodern era. Technical innovations generate the formation and development of two parallel emerging spheres-media and virtual reality. Media and virtual reality are currently perceived as an integral part of society’s life, as a socio-cultural environment, a person’s living space. The impact of these spheres is one of the central moments in the profound transformations of the lifestyle and mentality of our contemporaries. In this regard, complex problems arise, including aesthetic ones, related to the understanding of the expansion of screen technology, with the paradoxes of the existence of artificial worlds.
