Abstract

This article is the first attempt to describe the institutional status and the actual epistemological role of the archive of the Soviet philosopher and art critic M.A. Lifshits. The text provides an assessment of invesigational accessibility of the archive, as well as a description of the current situation around publication of his written heritage.
